Spooked by the Storm

Dan Kessler had a dog named BA while living in Raleigh, North Carolina. During a thunderstorm, BA got spooked and ran off. Kessler spent that first night outside, waiting for him to come back — he later said he never fully gave up hope, though he couldn't say he expected it to happen.
