A Book, and a Camera Picked Up Again

A publisher asked Hiromi to write a memoir; she published it in 2003 under the same title as her photo, with over 100 more pictures from their six years together. Around the same time, a teacher at Izumi no Gakuen asked her to volunteer photographing the children there. It was hard at first, but handing prints to families became part of how she healed.
