Two Wills

Hadassah Peri.

For about 20 years, she was the private nurse at Huguette's bedside.

And Huguette gave her gift after gift.

In all, about $31 million. Even a Stradivarius violin.

When Huguette wanted to give her a painting by Cezanne, Peri said no.

2005. Huguette signed a will.

Six weeks later, she signed another.

The first: her fortune goes to her family.

The second: her family gets nothing.

Instead, about $30 million more to Peri. About $12 million to her goddaughter. Most of the rest to charity and the arts.

May 2011. Two weeks before her 105th birthday, Huguette died.

The next month, the second will was filed in court.
