By December 2022, more than ten years after Blum died, the estate was still unsettled. Taxes and lawyers' fees had been eating away at it.
"I can say there's about half of it left, probably," the public administrator said.
As of the latest public reports, no court has ruled on who, if anyone, should get the rest. If no claim holds up, it goes to New York State.

Roman Blum spent his life building houses for other families.
