A Walker, a Stroller, and “Miraculous Things”

In her final months, Sato's blog showed Kabosu being fitted for a walker and being pushed around in strollers. She still went to the kindergarten. In February 2024, Sato told the Asahi Shimbun that ever since Kabosu came into her home, “a series of miraculous things” had happened, filling her life with priceless moments. That month, Sato put Kabosu's age at 18 — far beyond the typical lifespan of a Shiba Inu.
