Funded in Twelve Hours

On Kabosu's 17th birthday, fans launched an online crowdfunding campaign to build her a monument. It was fully funded within 12 hours. In November 2023, it was unveiled in Sakura Furusato Square, next to the De Liefde windmill: a bronze Kabosu in her famous pose, sitting on a stone couch and surrounded by bronze figures of Sato's cats. Sakura also put the Doge image on its manhole covers.
