A Teacher, a Blog, and a House Full of Cats

Atsuko Sato, a kindergarten teacher in Sakura, adopted Kabosu in November 2008 and kept the name the volunteers had given her. She described her new dog as kind and laid-back. Sato already shared her home with cats, and she kept a personal blog about everyday life with all of them. She photographed Kabosu often, the way many new pet owners do.
