Blind by His Teenage Years, With No Model to Follow

Morris Frank was born in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1908. A childhood accident took the sight in one eye. Years later, a second accident took the sight in the other. By his teenage years, Morris Frank was completely blind. There was no guide dog waiting for him, no training program nearby, nothing yet to suggest that blindness didn't have to mean relying on someone else to get around.
