On Saturday, March 12, the Keiyo Line was running again. The guests who had spent the night in the parks headed home, worn out in body and mind.
Both parks stayed closed for safety checks. Tokyo Disneyland would not open again for 34 days.
When it did, on April 15, 2011, it was the park's 28th birthday. For about a month after that, ¥300 from every guest's admission went to the Japanese Red Cross.
A long line formed at the gates that morning, and TV crews came to film it.
