One of Andrew's first memories of the hospital is Kristy beside his bed in a wheelchair, worrying about him. Then Kristy convinced the staff to put the two of them in the same room. Twenty-four hours later, things had turned around. Andrew started coming around and asking Kristy questions. She said she was amazed, that there were happy tears, and that within a day he was a new person.
